Profile Molder Operator
Synergy Wood Products in Sanford, FL is looking for experienced Profile Molder Operators! Are you an experienced Profile Molder Operator looking for advancement opportunity? Synergy Wood Products offers competitive wages and a benefits package.
Day Shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm – Overtime will be needed at times
We are seeking a wood working professional that has previous experience as a molder operator in a mill or with a millwork, manufacturing firm. You will need to be able to set up and operate a molder to run a variety of profiles within any single day. Ability to make templates and knives is plus. Experience on Weinig High Speed Jointed Molder 8-18 Speed machine is preferred.
You must also, have the ability to read work tickets and examine profiles to determine molder setup procedures and type of wood species to be cut. The goal is to ensure the millwork that is provided is milled accurately, efficiently ran and produced on schedule
We require all new hire candidates to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Position Responsibilities:
- Selects and installs knives into a cutting head for the profile that needs to be cut.
- Place molder heads on the Weinig Unimat 818 molder and adjust as necessary to run profile.
- Inspect wood specie to be milled for quality and accuracy of quantity.
- Run sample profile to ensure accuracy of profile dimension
- Inspects material being run to determine defects. Verifies dimensions of cut material, using caliper, tape measure and sample.
Position Requirements:
- Previous experience as a high speed molder operator (5 years + preferred)
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Forklift certification and experience preferred
